Improvements made for final music video

From the music video's first draft the improvements made where the intertextual reference changed and became more evident to the targeted audience. Originally it was going to be a Disney reference, but changed to become a intertextual reference to the film Clueless, where the main character of the music video resembles the film's main character Cher, through their shared higher class and materialistic values.
The shots became quicker and shorter to work well with the music's tempo and increase the pace of the music video to fit well with the dance music genre.
Some shots were changed, specifically the beach shots originally in the first draft were removed to make the presence of all the three girl characters come across as a natural occurrence in the music video.
The storyboard is seen to be significantly different to the end result of the music video because the new order positively impacted the music video's flow and allows the narrative of the video to come across as more visible to the audience.
