Charlotte Lawrence - Keep Me Up
I really like the editing and shots made, having purposely blurred shots and using a wide variety of angles and distances. Also using lots of colours and switching from black and white to colour.
The use of street lighting adds an urban feel and so does the use of transport. There's no use of a 'lover' in the music which is unusual for a song that is describing a love for something/ someone. I like the shots of the camera behind her and she turns around it gives the video a personal affect like the viewer is there in the moment. On the last image she turns in circles with the camera adding the same sense of feeling like you are with her. Also she includes lyrics on the screen in the center this could show their significance in the video. The shots are quickly shown, this adds to the pace of the music video and keeps up with the music. The low quality shots are what make the video unique adding a cool effect.

Madison Beer - Dead
The video inspired me to take the idea of having different coloured shots, flipping from black and white to coloured. The use of natural lighting through the window and pastel colours will almost go with the slower parts of the music where it is steady and calm. I like the first image included here of the mirror shot as the camera shot focuses on her and blurs the background. Even though there is use of a man in it, it does not obsess the camera on him.
